A unique view. A more complete understanding.

At Kells Academy, we believe that a high school student — with his or her unique capabilities, needs, and learning styles — can achieve greater and deeper levels of understanding through a more flexible, innovative, and individualized approach to learning. Encouraging students to develop a true thirst for knowledge, and helping them to apply new understanding to new situations, they learn greater independence and self-discipline while developing solid work habits and study skills. Our high school students are partners in their learning, choosing enriched, regular, or adapted core programs, and challenging themselves as they work to achieve competency.
The Kells secondary curriculum encompasses and surpasses the high school graduation requirements set by the Ministry of Education of Quebec. Presently, to qualify for a Quebec secondary school diploma and college entry, a student must accumulate a minimum of 54 credits at the Secondary IV and V levels, and of these, at least 20 credits must be from Secondary V.
